‘So It Goes’ is finally released today. The vinyl run is slightly delayed but the digital version is available now. To celebrate here is a free download of closing track Mrs Winchester, inspired by the story of the Winchester Mystery House in California…
The widow of gun magnate William Winchester, Sarah Winchester was convinced she was haunted by the ghosts of men felled by her husband’s weapons. She believed the only way to keep the spirits at bay was to continue construction on the house, turning it into a maze of twists, turns and dead ends. Construction continued for 38 years until her death in 1922.
The song is possibly shorter than this description of it. I hope you enjoy it.
